This course is a basic introductory and foundational management course. It is designed for students who desire to equip themselves with key knowledge, skills, and competencies in various aspects of management. The course encompasses the core components of management including planning, organizing, leading and controlling the organizations.
|Objective||At the end of this course, students should be able to: 1) describe the skills needed to be a successful manager; 2) understand the benefits and challenges of a diverse, global workforce; 3) understand the advantages, disadvantages, and best practices of utilizing teams within organizations; 4) develop self-awareness and problem solving skills; and 5) build critical thinking skills.|
