This course introduces students to the basic concepts and their applications in financial management. Topics include: time value of money, valuation of stock and bonds, capital budgeting, capital asset pricing model, market efficiency, capital structure, and dividend policy.
Objective
This course is intended to analyze major financial decisions by corporations. We will discuss the operation and efficiency of financial markets and the financial decisions of firms.
Preparations
Basic knowledge in Excel, statistics and introductory accounting are required.
