Description

This course is classified to 2-parts. First part is designed to increase knowledge and understanding about the impact of electromagnetic radio transmission, wireless technologies, lasers and light sources and application technologies. At second part, we will study for the Light emitting didoes and Laser didoes, photodetectors to understand of utilization of light for optical communications.

Objective

1. To introduce students to foundations of electromagnetic theory with focus on electromagnetic radiation and electromagnetic pollution
2. To introduce students to benefits of using electromagnetic radiation in everyday life and medical science
3. To introduce students to optoelectronics and applications
