This course is designed for business majors in their final year. It focuses on the core concepts and techniques for operating in the international economy as a business. In short, the enrolled students learn to navigate the globalized market place of today well. The topics that are covered in this course to serve that purpose are as follows : global business environment, national business environments, international trade and investment, international financial system and international business management (i.e., applying the discipline of management in the global arena)

Objective After successfully completing the course, one should be able to do the following : 1) Become conversant with various concepts and practices of international business. 2) Understand the vital role of international business as a core element in the international political economy. 3) Become a potentially capable practitioner of international business. 4) Lay a solid groundwork to do further academic work in the field.
