Course Description:
This Intermediate Korean course is specially designed for students to acquire four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) of the Korean language on real world setting. Each day of 3 hours of class is consisted of lecture and activities. Intermediate knowledge of Korean grammar, vocabulary, expressions and cultural points will be given in lecture. Students will practice the learned knowledge in small groups in the classroom, and then reach out its usage outside of classroom. Students will be frequently asked to interview or survey on some topics to native Korean speakers as a homework or project to maximize their Korean learning.

Objective

Course Objectives:
The goal of this course is to refine survival skills in Korean and broaden the scope of everyday conversation to intermediate level. Students will gain confidence in using Korean about the familiar topics with native Korean speakers.
