Description SSignals and Systems course will introduce basic electrical engineering signals and systems concepts.  These concepts are an integral part of the electrical engineering education, and they are extensively used in more advanced courses including communications, digital signal processing, image processing, and control systems. Number of transform methods will be applied to signals and linear systems, so that analysis can be performed in both the time and frequency domains.  The topics will include signal and system characteristics and models; time-domain analysis of continuous-time signals and systems; frequency domain analysis of continuous-time signals and systems, Laplace transform; time-domain analysis of discrete-time signals and systems, frequency-domain analysis of discrete-time signals and systems, and z-transform.
Objective
The objective of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of linear systems and signals in time and frequency domain.
