Please ensure that all faculties from overseas can ONLY be invited if they participate in the Faculty-Led program.

  • Faculty are required to recruit and bring a minimum of 20 students from their home university.
  • Out of 20 recruited students, a minimum of 10 must enroll in the Faculty-Led course to ensure its availability.
  • Faculty must submit the Student Nomination List by the nomination deadline.
  • Faculty must propose a distinct course that he/she would like to teach, which is not currently offered by Hanyang University.
  • Incentives will be provided based on the number of recruited students, in addition to the basic salary.
  • If the students accompanying the faculty are from non-partner universities, they will receive scholarships equivalent to those offered to students from partner universities.
  • Must participate in the Faculty-Led program
  • Ph.D. degree holder (except for the language, sports, and art fields)
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at a higher education institution
  • Currently employed as a full-time faculty at a higher education institution
  • Proficiency in teaching courses in English
  • A commitment to cross-cultural understanding and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students
  • (Preferred) Previous experience in teaching abroad
  • Round-trip airfare
    Ticket fees will be reimbursed up to KRW 3,000,000 (Economy Class ONLY, Up to KRW 2,500,000 for specific regions)
  • Airport pick-up and drop-off
    Free airport pick-up and drop-off services will be arranged based on each faculty’s travel itinerary.
  • Free Accommodation
    A room for two(2) people will be provided. Additional fees will be charged if the faculty accompanies more than two people and stays longer than our support.

2. Results Announcement (January 15, 2025)

The results of the selection of candidates by examining their applications will be announced via email. Those who are selected must accomplish its requirement; bring at least 20 students from the faculty’s university.

3. Student Nomination(By March 31, 2025)

The nomination list of recruited students MUST be submitted by the deadline.

4. Student Application & Payment(April 16, 2025)

Applications and payment must be completed by the deadline. Students are responsible for completing this stage on their own. Your encouragement could be requested.

5. Administration Preparations (May)
